I promised more photos from my trip to Venice last summer. I finally got to look a bit more into some of them - and chose to start out with a little collection of photos from the awesome island of Burano!
This island used to be a small fisherman's society, where they for some reason painted all their houses in all these amazing colors - it's a paradise for a photographer! I could walk around there in several days, just snapping away at least ten times per minute. Unfortunately, I was there with other people (non-photographers I may say!), and I guess it would have been a little evil to them to keep them there for the rest of the holidays!
I really like this photo because of the difference between the dark and the light side on either side of the street, and because of all those flowers. The pavement on the street was really beautiful

Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactAt first glance of this wonderful shoot, I thought, wow! It's like walking into a colorful dream of brightness and happiness. The perspective leading towards the ocean or harbor is just stunning. I admire the photographer's attention to detail and vision. I say vision because of the compiled colors that were able to be captured in one shot. You do not get sites like this everyday. It certainly is something to behold. Shows that there is still true beauty in this world among that states where i'm from. The flowers also add a bit of variety in the photographer's favor.
