I shot this photo inside a cloud! I was on the Montana Zugerberg in Switzerland at the time, on a summer school, and one morning the clouds were just over the whole mountain - and it was really foggy. The large trees by the roads were almost hard to see.
I liked the effect of the fog - making the whole sky lighten up from the morning sun. I was pretty hard to capture this effect with the camera, but I tried, and I think it turned out alright. I like how the sun is just in the middle of this photo, even though it's hard to see - it gives the background a nice gradient
and the colors of the leaves fade away over distance - this is my favorite of the three

I like the contrast between closer leaves, which are sharp and clear, and those distant ones, which are misty. It nearly looks like this photo is montaged from two layers. Very interesting.
