Description

Trying to revive my photography skills from the bored state I've been in as of late, I took some time trying to do something different, cats! I kind of knew that it was a hard sport, but didn't expect it to be this hard! Anyway, I got some great shots, should I say so myself, and this is just the first one. Look out for more to come! :la:

As usual, please tell me what you think - I really love to learn something from what I do, that is why I share my work here! I myself really liked the focus on this one, just spot on at the front eye, with just enough depth for my liking :)

I really like the picture, its got really nice rule of thirds and the highlights in the eye is beautiful but I feel like a slightly different angle would and been better. Maybe of you had a little more of the face showing. And the cats body in the background kinda takes away from the cats face its self. All in all its really nice and the details great, I love how the cats stripes lead back to the eye so that the attention is drawn more to it than anything else. And how you can see all the small shadows and highlights on the muzzle and cheek. Great job! This has all the sharp yet soft features needed for felines.
